APTAE is the Association of Professors of the Alexander Technique in Spain. It was founded in 1998 and is affiliated with the international association ATAS (Alexander Technique Affiliated Societies), which groups together associations from different countries that adhere to common agreed standards.

Its main objectives are: to disseminate the Alexander Technique; to ensure the quality of its teaching; to coordinate the group of member teachers; and to ensure compliance with the statutes, internal regulations, code of ethics and regulations of teacher training schools.
