Welcome to APTAE: the Association of Professors of the Alexander Technique in Spain

The Alexander Technique is a method of re-education that develops awareness of how we use our body and mind in daily activities. Its aim is to allow us to abandon harmful psychophysical habits and rediscover a way of functioning that is natural, free and healthy.

The Alexander Technique is not a therapy but rather a form of education. It was created at the beginning of the 20th century and has enjoyed more than a hundred years of teaching experience and scientific recognition.
